Very nice first printing of the Children's Book Club/Dent edition hardcover, published 1965, one year later than the first. Aquamarine colored paper covered boards with gilt spine title are barely brushed, no names, tears or soil in the 189pp text, just some scattered foxing on the edge of page block. Original dust wrapper a bit tatty at head of spine, light color loss at tips, displays well in new mylar. Leonie Revell is still grieving over the loss of her horse, Beverley, after an accident in the jumping ring. Finally she brightens up as the day of the 'Mystery Trek' approaches.
