Very rare Corgi story. First edition hardcover in aqua paper covered boards with sharp tips and bumped spine ends. Former Christmas gift ded on fep 'To Paul from Mummy'. No tears and only two small soil spots in the 86pp text. Unclipped, original white background illustrated dust wrapper shows wear and handling soil, light foxing on dj flaps but still displays ok in new mylar. Gladwyn is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi whose ambition is to visit his relations in Buckingham Palace after his pretentious Poodle neighbors in Wales prod him to make an exaggeration about his own breeding. His exciting trip on the train from Wales, his shopping trip to Harrods and his day at the Palace is a story to remember.
