An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in color wraps with very minor overall shelf wear with some scattered very light rubbing on the covers plus there is some very light soiling on the right outside paper edges. A novel about a middle-aged man who leaves his daughters and collapsing marriage in order to remodle his father's dilapidated shop into an art studio for his mother. His father had died two years earlier and during this renovation he comes upon his father's battered old contractor's clipboard and Carpenter's Notebook. He finds that his father had recorded "True Things' that helped him to find his way in life as a father, husband, and man. His son finds that this discovery leats him to re-examine and rebuild himself and his family's life. 295p.
