I bought these postcards from a history buff who particularly took interest in the life of George Washington. The three cards are from series No. 2320 and all show various amounts of metallic flair. The first one shows an image of Washington next to the White House and at the lower right corner he is named "Washington, The Father of the Country." The second card is clearly an emotional moment when Washingon took leave of his officers, hence why he was ebracing one. The third card is Washignton astride his white horse. The writing at top reads "First in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen." All cards are also embossed as you can see fom the backs. The cards will arive in brand new plastic sleeves.
