In original red cloth with pictorial title design stamped in black and a small chromolithograph panel mounted to the upper spine corner of the cover. Possibly bound without a proper title page; none found in this copy. Mild dam fading to red cloth in a small area of the upper board adjacent to the spine. Prior owner's period ink name stamps to endmatter. Two short pedagogical tales bound together, each of 16 pages, Illustrated with several woodcut plates. Internaly binding shaken with several splits between signatures. Fair to good only. Scarce
