Book is very clean with sharp corners, virtually no wear to black boards, and pristine red inked top edge as per design, SIGNED expansively by Hurst on half title page and dated 1923. Jacket is likewise very clean with just a few very tiny tears. Paper is crisp and it looks lovely in brand new mylar. Hurst is an Ohio author from Hamilton near Cincinatti, the only surviving child of a well-to-do Jewish family. She was a prolific novelist and in the late 50's hosted a talk show ahead of its time.
